Although the water-leak incident at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Faith Formation Building was not one of SLK Construction’s largest projects, the team approached it with the same level of care, professionalism, and commitment they dedicate to their largest clients. Their dedication and workmanship made a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for their support.

I worked with SLK Constrution, LLC on the recent repairs to our home after it was damaged by a tornado….When an unforseen problem surfaced (water damage in the kitchen), Steven worked diligently with us and the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance to identify a solution and then took on the additional work of a full remodel of our kitchen. What you can expect with SLK is a streamlined, honest process built upon open communication and thorough market / industry knowledge that dramatically simplifies the construction process. Steven’s commitment to homeowner satisfaction was evident in his actions…I am very pleased with the final product which Steven was instrumental in delivering, and I am extremely pleased with his work as a general contractor.

SLK Construction LLC is an excellent choice for your next construction or repair project. SLK was involved in a multi-faceted repair project at St. Mary’s Parish that involved roof repair and recoating. While normally a straight forward operation, there were a number of issues which were of concern to the parish. For instance, to gain access to the roof, scaffolding…might have resulted in potential damage to the landscape around the church and to the church walls. SLK met with parish staff a number of times to reach a solution beneficial to all…They also worked with the church schedule so that the project would not interfere with church services or programs. St. Mary’s was very satisfied with the repair project and was particularly pleased with how SLK was willing to work with us on every conceivable issue so that it would not interfere with normal church activity.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the attention and dedication Steven showed us on the property damage claim for St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Steven worked with our office extensively to complete our property claim. We were the unfortunate victims of a house fire in our home that caused extensive damage. Luckily, Steven Kroll was recommended to us…Not only did Steven help us negotiate a fair and accurate settlement with our insurance company, but under his supervision, the work was done with utmost care and quality…Eight years later, we called upon Steven once again after a hail storm. He not only remembered the job, but also knew exactly what materials were used, which again helped us with our insurance claim. In these days of untrustworthy roofing companies, it was a great relief to know that we could breathe easy, knowing that our home was in good hands. SLK Construction, LLC repaired and restored our Parish Hall after it suffered a devastating leak. They were able to match the wood so well it was impossible to see where the old floor ends and the new flooring begins. They also restored kitchen cabinets and countertops, along with several other items, all very well done. At the same time, SLK also repaired water damage to our rectory kitchen, and took on the job of remodeling the entire home with new drywall, flooring, and paint to every room. He did beautiful work and it has made a world of difference.

Steven is reliable, straightforward, timely, and interested in his work, and oversees each detail. I am glad to recommend him for any restoration, remodeling or other construction.
